Reporting Honda news began for Parks at a time when American Honda Motors and the Acura Division was well on its way to becoming the most dynamic auto manufacturer in North America. The past 3 years have witnessed some of the most sweeping changes to Honda’s car and motorcycle lineup in the maker’s 7-decade history.
Drive fast, drive safe
While I do appreciate the performance side of Honda, I’m most intrigued by Honda’s mantra of “Blue Skies for Our Children,” as they lead the auto industry to a zero exhaust emissions future. Furthermore, Honda leads the Auto industry in integrating passive and active safety features, as demonstrated by a company-wide commitment to reach a zero-related-auto-accident death rate within the next 20 years. Speaking with Honda engineering, the reachable goal will be accomplished through near Autonomous driver assist and accident avoidance mitigation features.
The new “Golden Age” of automotive development
This is an exciting time for Honda development and the people that design, build, and own arguably the most progressive automotive make in the world. One would be be hard pressed to find find a safer, well priced automotive lineup in the U.S. today. Next up for Honda is a broad expansion of electrification throughout its car and light truck lineup. Honda intends to electrify 70% of its North America fleet by model year 2022, beginning with the expanded Clarity trilogy. The future looks s bit brighter for the world as Honda Motor company and other mainstream auto makers embrace the E.V.. Let’s check it out together.
